Exploring the possibilities with polymer clay!

friends-that-clay-together.JPG

One benefit of belonging to a Polymer Clay Guild is the chance to get to know some terrific people.  Many of us have developed relationships that extend beyond our monthly meeting.

Pictured is Terri, our former librarian and current Polydelphia! 2007 Silent Auction coordinator.  The scene is from my family room before Christmas…. we got a chance to spend the evening crafting as we do from time to time.  Clearly my golden retriever approves of these social events!

We have another clay date for Sunday, and it got me to thinking.  I know many in our Guild meet up for clay dates between meetings.  I’d love to hear about the friends you’ve made.  Click on the Comments and tell us about it!

Don’t know if I’ll be able to make it to the Sunday event, although I really do want to see Eugenia’s work in person. But I did want to let y’all know that I met with the members of the Baltimore Guild last weekend, at their hangout, the studios of Made in Metal [a reclaimed mill under the Jones Falls Expressway, that has metalworking classes and a gallery]. Great folks [they kept offering me clay, and I kept saying I didn’t have anywhere to keep it in the new house… [but I do have a room picked out for it, and I know what workbench I’m going to get!]

anyway, thanks for getting this blog going!
