Exploring the possibilities with polymer clay!

Nobody got hurt….

That’s how Terri told me I should start the tale of our amazing trip to Polymer Clay Express last week.

It was a great day.  The bus was so fancy we felt like rock stars.  The driver was handsome.  PCE was so much fun.  Lots of great people and a good time was had by all.

Terri told me to say that because of the adventure that ensued when the wonderful Party bus broke down on the way home.  There were dramatic roadside rescues and time spent bonding in the Chesapeake House on 95 in Maryland until a stretch limo came to finish the journey home.

So no one got hurt….  except today, when I planned to start blogging and uploading pictures…. I fell and did something to my wrist.

So I won’t be blogging for a bit.  I invite all to tell their adventures in the comments or email me and I’ll post it.

I’ll get to the pictures when the swelling goes down….

  1. Ouch! Sorry to hear about your wrist! I wish I could have accompanied you all on the trip to PCE – I’ve always wanted to go there. Maybe next time 🙂

I’ll be in Philly for the class next weekend, so hopefully I’ll get to see many of you!

Thank God you didn’t tell them I wanted to leave our members on the highway and keep on going! It was only a temporary thought. Really!

I hope you’re feeling better soon, Sarah. Lots of people need you!

We missed you Polkadot! Next year it’s a mandatory trip!

Thanks go out to Rob and Wilma at PCE for hosting us on Father’s Day! Damascus, Maryland is actually bigger than I was lead to believe. We loved having our Marland connections join us there!

Has it been almost a month since we blogged? I’ll contribute soon.

    Adios, Sue

  3. Hope your wrist gets better fast. I have pictures too and will post then on the site in the coming week. We had a great time!!!!

  4. I just posted a bunch of pictures. If you didn’t come, you will kick yourself when you see the great time we had. Even when we were stuck on I-95. Ok, ok, maybe not as much fun then, but it was still pretty good.

  5. Lisa – PCE is a wonderful place. I’ve taken a couple of classes there. I think I’m going to try & take one class a year there forever. =)

Sarah – sorry to hear about the hand =( Heal quickly. Hey, if you want to take Dan & Tracy’s class in the fall, I’m sure the CT guild folx would be glad to see you again.

And to all of you who got stuck on I-95, at least you were on the more direct highway from MD. Last time I went down there, I let the GPS guide me home (to northwest NJ) via a whole bunch of secondary highways. Pretty, but what a long drive!
