Exploring the possibilities with polymer clay!

Hi Everybody.

I’m very much looking forward to our guild meeting on Sunday with guest artist Lynne Ann Schwarzenberg.  But, as seems to be the norm during our fall meeting schedule, there is another race in Philly this weekend.  I can’t find the road closure map on their website (www.aidswalkphilly.org).  If you can find it, please leave the location in the comments.

So the normal warnings apply–allow extra time, parking may be challenging, yadayadayada.  But I can assure you that it will be worth the extra effort.  Lynne Ann has a great demo scheduled on working metal filigree pieces into your polymer clay (or is that working your polymer clay into metal filigree?).  I accidentally deleted the original note, but I believe Lynne Ann will have some blank filigree pieces for sale, so you may want to bring some extra cash.  (I need to buy more stuff like I need {another} hole in the head, but I probably won’t be able to resist after I see the demo!)

Hope to see you there!

  1. AIDS Walk Philly begins and ends at Eakins Oval, in front of the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The route goes up Kelly Drive and back down Martin Luther King Drive.

MLK and Kelly Drive will be closed. It’s best to skip those areas and take an alternate route like the Schuylkill
