Exploring the possibilities with polymer clay!

2011 Niche Award WinneDoreen Kassel‘s polymer clay sculptures are original, whimsical  and offbeat.   She is teaching a class just for  guild members on Saturday, March 17 on making small sculptures and ornaments and how to give them personality and  a vintage look.  No special sculptural skills are needed; the object is to have fun!

Doreen’s class is $95.00.  This includes a small kit of materials you will use in the class.  Remember, you have to be a member to take the class.  Click here  and scroll down the page to become a member and take the class.  You can register and pay on line with PayPal!

So, why should you join the guild to take one class?   Because there are benefits to being a member of the Philadelphia Area Guild that you will not find anywhere else.    If you are a member and you can’t take Doreen’s class, just come to our regularly scheduled meeting on March 18 and watch Doreen teach as our guest artist at no extra charge.  How cool is that?

Our roster of past guest artists reads like a Who’s Who of the craft world: Julie Picarello,  Jane Ann Wynn,  Diane Villano,   Louise Fischer Cozzi– and that’s just a few of the outstanding artists we have presented at our meetings for the members at no extra charge.

We pay for this program through dues donations and fundraisers.  All of the members benefit.

Remember, class on March 17, meeting with Doreen as guest artist on March 18.  Check our web page for more details.
